UISS Installation
1) Go to the "Links" area and download the last version of UISS on the author site.
2) Run "PlayOnLinux" software.
3) Click on "Install an unlisted program" at the bottom of the window.
4) Read recommendations and check the box to avoid this reminder and click on "Next".
5) Once again, read the information and check the box to avoid this reminder next time and click on "Next".
6) Start of Installation process. Click on "Next".
7) Select "Install in a new virtual drive" and click on "Next".
8) Name the virtual disk "HAMRADIO" and click on "Next".
9) In the next window, check "Install some libraries" then click on "Next".
10) Select 32 bits windows installation even your OS is 64 bits.
11) Next step : Setup the virtual disk. Just wait few seconds...
12) In the next window, check "POL_Install_vbrun6" then click on "Next".
13) Click on "Browse" to select the UISS setup program previously downloaded.
14) Select the program and click on "Next".
15) In the next window, just click on "Next".
16) UISS Setup begin. Click on "Next".
17) Check "I accept the agreement" then click on "Next".
18) Click on "Next" without modify any parameters.
19) Once again don't change anything and click on "Next".
20) One more time, live the path as it is and click on "Next".
21) Uncheck all boxes and click on "Next".
22) Click on "Install" to copy the files.
23) Uncheck all boxes and click on "Finish".
24) In the next window, select "UISS.exe" to make a shortcut on your desktop then click on "Next".
25) Next windows : Just click on "Next".
26) Another window like the previous appears to create other shortcuts. Select the first item of the list 'I don't want to create any other icon" then click on "Next".
27) Close the PlayOnLinux Window.
28) An alert is displayed. Click on "Yes" to confirm.
29) Download the archive "Updates.tar.gz" from the "Downloads" area of the site which is located in the "UISS" directory.
30) Go to the place where the archive has been saved.
31) Right click on the file and select "Extract here" in the menu.
32) Open the the "Updates" folder which has just been extracted.
33) Inside this folder there is the last versions of both SoundModem and EasyTerm software. Leave this window opened and open an another one with the file explorer.
34) In the new window got to your Home directory and open the "PlayOnLinux's virtual drives" folder.
35) Open the folder "HAMRADIO".
36) Then open the folder "drive_c".
37) Continue by opening the "Program Files" folder.
38) To finish, open the folder "UISS".
39) Inside are the both programs we are going to update.
40) Place the windows one over the other so you can drag the files "Soundmodem.exe" and "Term" from the first window to the UISS installation directory.
41) Run UISS from the desktop.
42) After launch, UISS open the Soundmodem module.
43) Finally, UISS launch the UI-MapView Module.
